Radius stems from research into the sustainable materials rattan & recycled p.e.t.. For this object we developed a modular system, where curved rattan uprights are literally interwoven with cloths made of recycled p.e.t. yarn. The materials form the construction, the beauty of the object emerging from the deceptive simplicity of the design and the materials themselves. With a light, Radius becomes a floor lamp, when combined with a recycled acrylic top, a side table.
