We increasingly use one space for different purposes. To make the space more flexible, we have developed Dashes. This textile object can be used as a tapestry as well as a connector between the different surfaces in a room - wall, floor, furniture and ceiling. Various weaving techniques are used to create this object, combining industrial and artisan methods. As a result a dialogue takes place between the surfaces, both in the textile itself and in its application in a room. ​ In addition, an optical effect has been incorporated into the object, resulting from the colour gradient in the background of the pattern. ​ Dashes is a bespoke item.
